Why does change feel like a 4-letter word? Does it invoke fear? Uncertainty? Discomfort?
The crises, the stressors, the ups and downs, the twists and turns of this journey that humans are on don’t come with the latest navigation system, making it necessary at times to change course and do something different. Sometimes that means asking for help.
I incorporate an eclectic variety of theories and evidence-based techniques to address areas such as relationship challenges, conflict, communication, attachment, trauma, addiction, recovery, depression and anxiety. A person-centered, strengths-based approach allows for a uniquely tailored therapeutic relationship to grow based on your needs and desired outcomes.
Whether self-motivated, chosen and desired, or otherwise imposed, change is possible -- and it does happen, for better or for worse. I am honored to have the opportunity to witness, guide and support individuals, families, and couples as they learn to be their own experts, discover their strengths, and choose their own change.
It is said that “nothing changes if nothing changes” ...what change will you make today?
